We’re proud to share that our very own Dr Geetha Iyer, Medical Director at CODE Eye Care, was honored to be invited to the XLI NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF OPHTHALMOLOGY by the Colombia Society of Ophthalmology! Dr. Iyer had the pleasure of reconnecting with esteemed colleagues, including Angela Guiterrez, Alejandro Tejo, and Paulo Dantas. Gratitude and appreciation for Ruben Berrospi and Alexandra for curating an outstanding cornea program, which was a true scientific feast!

The warmth and hospitality of our Colombian and South American friends left a lasting impression. Dr. Iyer also embraced the local culture, cuisine, and the Caribbean climate!

This marks Dr. Iyer’s first visit to South America, a journey that not only broadened horizons but also took CODE’s pioneering work across the seas and continents.
